Australia exports 238,218t Feb canola, down 57pc on Jan

AUSTRALIA exported 238,218 tonnes of canola in February, down 57 per cent from the January total of 555,206t, according to the latest export data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).

Belgium on 63,030t was the biggest customer for February-shipped canola, followed by Germany on 61,843t, just ahead of France on 61,600t.

As with January, the United Kingdom was the fourth-biggest market for canola exported in February.

In the three months to February, Belgium, France, Germany and the UK have been the biggest markets for Australian canola.
