Grain Central July 30, 2020

RIVERINA-BASED Yenda Prods Grain (YPG) has announced that it has acquired a minority stake in niche grain marketer, Origin Grain Pty Ltd (OG).

Having worked together closely since YPG’s inception, the directors of both companies have decided to formalise their partnership.

YPG manager, Luke Mancini, said YPG would focus on grain accumulation and storage and Origin Grain would continue to focus on specialty grain marketing.

Founded in 2015, YPG is a majority owned subsidiary of the 95-year-old Yenda Producers Cooperative Society Ltd.

Origin Grain, which as established in 2010, originates and markets specialty wheats and maize. It has an extensive network of growers in southern NSW and Victoria to help service both domestic and export milling customers.
