Sales to Vietnam boost Australia’s boxed wheat exports

Liz Wells April 11, 2018

AUSTRALIA’S February exports of containerised wheat totaled 191,116 tonnes, up 9 per cent from the revised January figure of 175,688t, according to the latest shipping data available from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).

The lift was largely due to increased sales to Vietnam, which totaled 48,441t for the month, up from 33,292t in January.
