COLD fronts and associated low-pressure systems and troughs led to scattered rainfall and storms across southern parts of Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and eastern New South Wales.

Weekly rainfall totals of 10-50mm were recorded in patches across the south-west of WA, southern coastal regions of SA and in the south-west of Vic and Tas.

The highest confirmed weekly total at a Bureau gauge was 82mm at Jervis Bay’s Point Perpendicular AWS in NSW, which included the highest confirmed daily total at a Bureau gauge of 51mm in the 24 hours to 9am on June 14.
