END-OF-FINANCIAL-YEAR deals are focussing producers’ minds on precision technology, new tractors and grain sensors.

In addition to the Federal Government’s Temporary Full-Expensing Scheme, a beefed-up instant asset write-off, manufacturers are dangling some tax-time sweeteners for cashed-up producers.

New Holland is offering a 50 percent discount on a one-year subscription to Precision Land Management 3 (PLM 3) which is designed to optimise seed and fertiliser application.

“PLM 3 makes it possible for farmers to achieve 2.5cm accuracy across their operations,” New Holland Australia and New Zealand PLM product manager Melody Labinsky said.

“For someone who isn’t already using an RTK base station, this offers that 2.5cm accuracy without being tied to a base station.

“It’s ideal for contractors or farmers with multiple landholdings.

“This level of accuracy means they can return to the same paddock year after year with confidence,” she said.

“We are making precision technology more accessible than ever as a big focus for New Holland as part of its commitment to sustainability and advancing the agricultural industry.”

She said the PLM 3 technology is aimed at large-scale cropping enterprises using the next generation PLM Intelligence tractors.

Additionally, New Holland is offering cashback deals of up to $3000 on compact and T series tractors and five $20,000 travel giveaway prizes.

Meanwhile, Case IH is offering up to $2500 cashback on sales of Puma, Magnum and Farmall tractors.

Massey Ferguson is also offering a bonus loader with a MF 2600 Series purchase.

There is a zero-finance deal being offered to eligible commercial operators for John Deere’s HarvestLab 3000 grain-sensing technology for S700 series combines until June 30.

Buyers of a Deutz-Fahr 4E cab will also receive a free six-foot slasher.

Bobcat Australia is stumping up a $3000 factory rebate on some excavators and a $500 factory rebate on some CT tractors.

Many companies are offering finance deals and/or extended warranties.

And on the other side of the tax year, Shearer’s early order program cuts 3 percent off eligible machinery until August 31.
