CLARIFICATION: MALLONLAND PTY LTD -v- ADVANTA SEEDS PTY LTD – QLD SUPREME COURT PROCEEDING NO. 4103/17

In the above representative proceeding, Mallonland Pty Ltd alleges that, between 2010 and 2014, the Advanta Seeds Pty Ltd, supplied a variety of sorghum seed, MR43, which was alleged to be contaminated with a noxious weed, shattercane. Mallonland alleges a number of consequences associated with the alleged contamination.

None of these matters have been proven in the proceeding.

Advanta strenuously denies Mallonland’s allegations in the proceeding and has stated its intention to vigorously dispute Mallonland’s contentions.
