DESPITE heavy rains and flooding throughout parts of the eastern grain belt, receivals into GrainCorp’s eastern sites have pushed over the 4.5-million-tonne mark over the past week.
Queensland deliveries are still trickling in throughout the Goondiwindi and Darling Downs regions.
And, while the northern and central New South Wales continued to receive rainfall throughout the week, deliveries of pre-rain harvested grain and on farm storage were still coming through.
There were very strong canola deliveries in southern NSW early in week before the rainfall delays.
The Victorian harvest is building momentum now, particularly across the central and north east sectors and the Swan Hill region, with above average volume and quality.
