RECEIVALS from the current harvest have jumped to 1.5 million tonnes at GrainCorp sites across eastern Australia.
This follows deliveries of 719,100t in the week to today.
In its weekly Harvest Update released today, GrainCorp said the Queensland harvest was winding down, with receivals still trickling into sites on the Darling Downs and in the Goondiwindi region.
“GrainCorp staff and equipment are beginning to move south, to help with harvest activity in New South Wales and Victoria,” the update said.
“Harvest activity is well under way in NSW, with good quality wheat receivals in (the) Wyalong and Griffith regions.
“Early canola is also starting to come into the most southern NSW sites, such as Henty and Boree Creek.”
