GRAINGROWERS is hosting a series of free grain-marketing and risk-management workshops aimed at helping drive growers’ long-term profitability.
Delivered by grain-marketing experts Lachstock Consulting, workshop content has been based on grower feedback, and designed to build grower understanding of the marketing process and how to navigate risk associated with grain contracts.
GrainGrowers chief executive officer Shona Gawel said the workshops were a great opportunity for growers to gain valuable insights and knowledge on grain marketing and risk management.
“The materials that will be presented this year have been updated based on participant feedback, so I encourage growers to take advantage of this valuable opportunity and register to attend,” Ms Gawel said.
“In an increasingly complex grain market, the workshops will highlight what is driving prices globally and considerations around ensuring profitable outcome once the crop has been harvested.
“The workshops will not only offer foundational information, but will use this to further support an understanding of how to best manage risk across the business.”
Ms Gawel said the workshop would be delivered using real-life case studies and local market updates.
Take-home resources will also be provided as additional on-farm support.
