AN INLAND trough moved across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria triggering rainfall in western and central NSW and western Qld, with rainfall totals of 25-50mm in the 24 hours to 9am on July 9.
A low-pressure system in Bass Strait brought rain across parts of Victoria and Tasmania, and in the 24 hours to 9am on July 10, 15-50mm was recorded across western Tas and central and south-eastern Vic.
A low-pressure system off the east coast of Tas on July 14 brought widespread rain to the state with 25-50mm across southern areas in the 24 hours to 9am on July 15.
Weekly totals of 25-50mm were recorded across Tas, the south-west coast of Western Australia, small areas of the south-east coast of South Australia, a large area of central and north-eastern Vic, and isolated pockets of inland NSW and central Qld.
Weekly totals greater than 50mm were recorded across southern, eastern and central Tas, and central Victoria.
The highest weekly total was 140mm at Mount Baw Baw, Vic, which also recorded the highest daily total of 89mm in the 24 hours to 9am on July 10.
