WIDESPREAD showers and storms along the east coast and in Victoria resulted in weekly totals of 25-50mm, with locally higher falls in western Tasmania and the New South Wales mid-north coast.

Higher weekly totals of 50-200mm were recorded from isolated thunderstorms along the northern tropical coast in the Kimberley, Northern Territory Top End and the tip of the Cape York Peninsula.

Troughs across Western Australia brought 10-50mm to parts of the interior and the South West Land Division, with isolated weekly totals over 50mm.

The highest weekly total at a Bureau gauge was 237mm at Croker Island Airport in the NT.

The highest daily total at a Bureau gauge was 168mm at Erriba in to in the 24 hours to 9am April 7.
