Slow moving thunderstorms brought isolated high totals in the Northern Rivers district in New South Wales on September 28.
Weekly totals greater than 15mm were recorded in south-west Tasmania, coastal south-west Western Australia, parts of the central and north coast of NSW, and the south-east coast and northern tropical coast districts in Queensland.
The highest totals during the week were in NSW, with the highest weekly total at a Bureau gauge of 69mm at Clunes, and the equal highest daily total of 68mm at Clunes and Rosebank, in the 24 hours to 9am on September 29.
